Throughout my years of practicing therapy, there are moments when I feel, "this is why I became a therapist." Sometimes it's when a client and I come together to a profound realization of what has been holding them back and how they can move forward. Other times it's when I can help a couple appreciate how important they are to each other. Whatever the details, it gives me great fulfillment to help others.
After earning my Bachelors degree and rabbinic ordination from Yeshiva University, I pursued a Masters in Social Work at Touro College. There, I had the opportunity to learn from some of the top experts and leaders in the mental health community. I specialize in Internal Family Systems and work with adults, children, and couples. As a frum therapist (i.e. orthodox Jewish) I'm most familiar with that particular lifestyle, while it has provided me with the cultural sensitivity to understand other cultures as well.
Over the years I’ve worked with many wonderful clients and helped them to achieve healing and relief. Those clients have been tremenedous teachers to me as well, from whom I have learned precious and invaluable lessons.
